Retired archbishop Desmond Tutu is being treated for what’s been described as a “stubborn infection.”
The eighty-three year old was admitted to Cape Town hospital on Tuesday where he is receiving an “intensive course” of antibiotics.
He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for campaigning against apartheid.
