The 58th edition of the Two Worlds Festival has got underway in Spoleto. Many people consider this event to be one of the cultural highlights of the Summer. This small Italian city in Umbria manages to bring in many famous artists from all over the world. A variety of plays and concerts are featured with tickets costing just one euro thanks to the Italian director Giorgio Ferrara.

“This is a big international showcase but we know these are hard times, explained Ferrara. ‘‘There is a big crisis in Italy so we decided to adapt things to cater to everyone’s needs. Prices have been kept low to allow everybody the possibility to attend the shows.’‘

Ferrara, who interpreted Mozart’s masterpiece ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ was quick to suggest that his performance here next year would be along the same lines.
