The narrative before Wednesday night’s bench-clearing scuffle between the Chicago Cubs and Miami Marlins was beautiful and it had epic potential. It all began on Monday when Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro took forever to go around the bases after a home run to left field. It was the longest home run trot this season by a player not named Victor Martinez or David Ortiz.
