Hawai’i has the highest teen suicide rate in the nation and is #1 in homeless kids per capita. Young people here quickly lose hope because of a lack of educational and economic opportunities. It’s an appalling situation. The Big Island Information Technology Institute (BIITI) will change it through the empowerment of a permanently sustainable economic model.
