SWAT Team Fires Tear Gas to End 14-Hour Standoff With Suspect

An Evansville, Indiana, man was arrested after a 14-hour standoff at his home on May 27, local media reported. A SWAT team fired several tear gas rounds before the arrest of the man, named as Jason Porter, 32. Porter was accused of vandalizing a dog daycare facility next door to his house, on Evansville’s Covert Avenue.The Courier Press cited a local TV report in which the owner of O’Hair’s Happy Dog Daycare, Debbie Magenheimer, said a brick had been thrown through a window at her business.
