The Japanese manufacturer Takata has doubled the number of cars it says are affected by faulty airbags which have been blamed for at least six deaths. Globally, the number of cars concerned is over 53 million, with 34 million of them in the US. Also today: Coca-Cola holds its place as the world's most purchased product.
