Airline Head Compares U.S. Domestic Flights To Low-Cost Buses

Emirates Airlines president Tim Clark has likened U.S. domestic flight travel to that of a “low-cost bus company” which is one exchange among many between the airlines in the Persian Gulf and U.S. carriers about inclusion in the open-skies agreement.

The skies may become little less friendly these days, at least if the major airlines continue their allegations against one another.  Recently, the 3 Persian Gulf airlines fired back against actions by their U.S. counterparts. 

Tim Clark, president of Dubai’s state-owned Emirates Airlines, has recently said in an interview that taking a domestic U.S. flight is “like travelling with a low-cost bus company.
