After his historic visit to Cuba, French President Francois Hollande arrived in Haiti, thus becoming the second French leader that has visited that country since 1804. Hollande said France has a “moral debt” with Haiti but did not say his country would pay back the enormous sum that Haiti paid after defeating France in its struggle for Independence over 200 years ago. Reparations would come to US$20 billion today, but Hollande only offered an investment of US$145 million. teleSUR
