Bus Company Causes Uproar With Ad Deemed Sexist

A South Wales-based bus company angered many over their new ad, featuring a semi-naked woman on a bus holding a sign saying, "Ride me all day for £3."

Public advertisements are meant to catch the consumer's eye. Unfortunately, some draw attention for the wrong reasons.


An ad by a bus company in South Wales, UK featured models holding a sign that says, "Ride me all day for £3." 

Backlash against Next Adventure Travel Group, or N.A.T. Group, began online immediately, with many accusing the company of being sexist. 


Twitter user EverydaySexism asked the company, "...aren't half of your customers women? Have you thought this through?"
