George Washington McLintock is a famous cattle baron and is a man of abundance. He waits for his daughter, Becky’s return from boarding school. Katherine, his estranged wife returns with the purpose of taking Becky back with her to the State Capitol. Washington is a respected man as his farmers love him and so do the Indians and everyone expects him to do right. Washington McLintock is now badly caught up with the scheming people around him.
