Mtp kit is a combination of two main active constituents such as Mifepristone and Misoprostol. MTP kit is mainly intended for the termination of early intrauterine pregnancy up to 9 weeks (63 days) of gestation period. Mifepristone blocks the activity of progesterone hormone because progesterone hormone plays a major role in sustaining the female’s pregnancy.
