Italy has been marking the 154th anniversary of its unification as a single state.
Events in Rome included tributes paid at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by President Sergio Mattarella and other VIPs and a patriotic fly-past by the Italian Air Force’s aerobatic unit.
