He shared the news via Twitter, explaining that due to a delay every other ticket holder had been rebooked.

Weather was particularly rough that day, and the flight, which was departing from Cleveland, had been pushed back a number of hours.

O’Leary waited out the extra time at his hotel, and ended up missing the opportunity to be reassigned.

It worked in his favor as he got to enjoy the rarest of on-plane luxuries - vast personal space.
