It's my second nexus 5 in 12 days, and I have same problem with that one!!! the wifi won't turn on.
No update, no OTA,just out of the box. I think its a serious problem with the Nexus 5 and there are no solution, I'm doomed!!!
wifi status shows UN-INITIALIZED
