The Mystery Paintings | Euromaxx

In the archives of Britain's state museums, there are over 30,000 old paintings of which the origin or other aspects are unclear. Art historians are overwhelmed with the research, so the online initiative Art Detective was launched in March asking volunteers to help! Hundreds of paintings were photographed and posted. Now art fans can assist researchers in solving the riddles of the mystery paintings.
