Hacked interoffice communications from Sony Pictures Entertainment have again surfaced, and this time they involve messages containing jokes made about President Obama and race.

The email exchange made public is one between two studio higher ups, Amy Pascal and Scott Rudin.

In advance of attending a November fundraiser hosted by Jeffrey Katzenberg of DreamWorks Animation, Pascal reached out to Rubin for advice on what to ask the president.

Rudin suggested inquiring if Obama would like to finance films.

Pascal replied, “I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked DJANGO?”

It was suggested that she also get the president’s thoughts on ’12 YEARS’.

Following that Pascal proceeded to list the names of a number of other films featuring black actors.

Other leaked emails mention major stars in the movie industry.

Official comments about the emails have been few, but Rudin did make a statement on the matter.
He told The New York Times, “This is not about salacious emails being batted around by Gawker and Defamer. It’s about a criminal act, and the people behind it should be treated as nothing more nor less than criminals.”

The Sony Pictures breaches began on November 24th, and include the release of personal information pertaining to nearly 50 thousand employees.
