On this Halloween addition of Creepy Places Global, Charles and Stephen travel to Sleepy Hollow, New York, a town made famous by the Washington Irving short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". In the story, a man named Ichabod Crane is chased through 18th Century Sleepy Hollow by the Headless Horseman. The story use real location in the town that one can visit today, such as the Old Dutch Churchyard and Patriots Park. Another place of interest is Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, home to the grave of Washington Irving himself, along with William Rockefeller and Walter Chrysler. Along the way, Charles and Stephen ill read selected passage readings from the famous story. Here at Creepy Places, we want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!
