Bouteflika in rare appearance to mark Algeria's independence celebrations

Algeria’s President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has made a rare public appearance as the country marks the 60th anniversary of its war of independence with France. Still clearly weak from a stroke suffered last year, Bouteflika visited a memorial to war martyrs.
