Pure Montmorillonite mines are rare. Montmorillonite is often used by scientists after they have extracted its microscopic crystals from bentonites to perform experiments ranging from disease control in animal husbandry, genetic research, agricultural soil conditioning to medical solutions ranging from dermatitis and digestive ailments. It is the Montmorillonite that is the key to Bentonite.

Montmorillonite is unique in that is has an extremely high cation exchange capacity. That capacity is basically the molecules having an ionic charge which allows it to change what it comes in contact with while keeping its original structure. That apposed to minerals with a low cation exchange which turn into a completely different composition.

In others words, Montmorillonite it started out as and Montmorillonite it ended up as. For thousands of years as Montmorillonite travels downward to lower elevations collecting animal, plant and minerals in the end is still Montmorillonite. The negative ionic charge of Montmorillonite creates a kind of magnet that attaches to positive charged molecules of the materials it is exposed to. Because of the sediments it is attached to, it is then called a bentonite, an impure clay made mostly of montmorillonite.

So why is this important?

Because less is more. Why buy 10 lbs of red or brown bentonite that is an impure clay effectively reducing the potential ionic exchange from the Montmorillonite when you can buy one pound of White Montmorillonite that is pristine in its ionic energy quality?

This rare gem of a crystalline clay is fast becoming known for its high quality and superior efficacy. In some circles it is referred to as the Only True Healing Crystal.

If you are looking for it Google “White Montmorillonite”
