Video of Robbery Allegedly Committed by Michael Brown Released; Family Calling it Character Assassination

Surveillance video of the robbery which allegedly shows Michael Brown, stealing a box of cigars was released to the public on Friday. The incident occurred minutes before the unarmed teen was shot dead by a Ferguson police officer identified as Darren Wilson. Police Chief Tom Jackson clarified on Friday that the reported robbery was not related to the officers initial encounter with the teenager.
