I wanted to examine and appreciate how closely the new Sailor Moon Crystal anime followed the original artwork, layout and direction from the source material. This is a side-by-side comparison!

This is more of a comparison of the artwork than the dialogue, so I wasn't generally interested in including word bubbles if the images didn't match. There are a handful of frames from the manga that are repeated if the scene in the episode was a little longer or changed shots a few times, and there are a handful of images that are not in the exact order they appear on the page; I was more concerned with keeping them alongside the anime. This does not happen often, though, as the anime is extremely faithful! I did take SOME liberties in choosing what images to include, so please be mindful that I'm WAY overthinking this.

If it was not included in the episode, I did not include the artwork from the manga, and any large portion of footage not accompanied by manga artwork indicates that it was not a part of the original book.
