A man in Bryant, Arkansas was recently arrested for allegedly following and harassing a couple. According to police, 44-year-old James Bushart believed the car he was chasing was a spaceship and the driver was an alien.

The victim, identified as Jay Ward later said he thinks his vehicle played a role in the alien assumption. At the time of the bizarre incident, Ward had been cruising around in a Plymouth Prowler, which is a pretty radical and noticeable car.

However, police also found meth and a pipe in Bushart’s possession, which could have contributed to his odd speculation. Ward alerted cops after realizing the suspect was following him and wasn’t backing down.

Bushart demanded the “alien take his spaceship back to where they came from” during the confrontation.

"Bushart claimed he was curious about the car because "it looked like a futuristic machine." At one point he also told police that "he was a very big deal and had 100,000 Asian flowers."" [Via KLRT]

He has been charged with ‘DWI and Disorderly Conduct’.
