Bees Swarm Delaware Highway After Trailer Crash

A part of a major Delaware Highway was closed for several hours on May 20 after a tractor-trailer overturned and dropped hundreds of bee hives onto the road. According to reports, an estimated 16 million bees were expelled across the Interstate-95 Northbound, forcing Delaware State Police to launch a “Bee Swarm Removal Plan”.
