A new video that shows stowaway teen Yahya Abdi jumping from the wheel well of a Hawaiian Airlines jet recently surfaced.
Satisfying any doubts that he did, in fact, make the San Jose to Hawaii trip that way, the footage shows him climbing out from the bottom of the plane.
Once he hits the ground, he begins to stumble along the tarmac.
He appears to be quite disoriented and nearly falls to the ground shortly after beginning to walk away from the craft.
The event was captured by surveillance cameras at Maui’s Kahului Airport on April 20th, but was not released to the public until now.
What it shows mirrors the reports given by airport officials immediately following the incident.
The part that remains a bit of a mystery is how the 15-year-old was able to physically endure several hours of sub-zero temperatures and limited oxygen.
Shortly after being discovered he was treated by medics onsite and then taken to a hospital for further care.
He’s since rejoined his father in California, but has yet to speak about his stowaway experience publicly.
