The one hundred and fourth surat of the Holy Qur'an in arabic, phonetic and english with the recitation of the Sheikh Mohammad Siddîq Al-Minshâwî, may Allah have mercy on him.

Arabic:

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ
فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ

Phonetic:

Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

104.1 Waylun likulli humazatin lumazatin
104.2 Allathee jamaAAa malan waAAaddadahu
104.3 Yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu
104.4 Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutamati
104.5 Wama adraka ma alhutamatu
104.6 Naru Allahi almooqadatu
104.7 Allatee tattaliAAu AAala alafidati
104.8 lnnaha AAalayhim musadatun
104.9 Fee AAamadin mumaddadatin

Approximate Translation of the Meanings of the surat:

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

104.1 Woe to every slanderer, defamer,
104.2 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap);
104.3 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
104.4 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster,
104.5 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is?
104.6 It is the fire kindled by Allah,
104.7 Which rises above the hearts.
104.8 Surely it shall be closed over upon them,
104.9 In extended columns.
