The Roast (cooking method not mentioned in video): Marinate a 2-3lb beef roast with: 2 cloves garlic, finely minced 1.5 tsp salt 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp paprika 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or more to taste 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons olive oil
Seal in a container and leave it in the fridge overnight. Then cube into even pieces and put in the slow cooker for around 5 hours on low with a half pint of beef broth. Take it out, shred it up and put it in a bowl for the next step of the Egyptian Stuffed Flat Bread recipe.
