French film director and screenwriter Edouard Molinaro has died, aged 85.
Best-known for his comedies, Molinaro was nominated for an Academy Award for his groundbreaking and internationally-successful farce “La Cage aux Folles”, one of more than thirty feature films he made over the course of his career.
