The Accredited SAFe Agile Practioner (ASAP®) is a professional who has demonstrated in a responsible manner, proven knowledge and expertise which make up the body of knowledge recognized by those who are experts in Scaled Agile Framework. This is standard which is based on standard principles of Agile and Scrum methodologies applied to large scale enterprise applications and has been developed by Dean Leffingwell. The trademark for the SAFe symbol belongs to Leffingwell LLC. This certification by ACI® enables the participant to demonstrate his or her skills and knowledge of general principles underlying the SAFe methodology. SAFe is a methodology which enables teams to scale up Agile teams to enterprise scale. It is in a way a methodology to manage multiple Agile teams and is concerned with the architecture of Scrum of Scrums in a very detailed way.
