The Accredited Agile Practioner (AAP®) is a professional who has demonstrated in a responsible manner, proven knowledge and expertise which make up the body of knowledge recognized by those who are experts in Agile Frameworks. This is standard which is based on standard principles of Agile, Scrum, Lean Software Development, Kanban, DSDM and other related agile methodologies. This certification by ACI® enables the participant to demonstrate his or her skills and knowledge of general principles of various agile methodologies which have come to be called in the industry as Agile. The methods which are focused on this certification are Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software Development, and Extreme Programming. Other agile methods are also covered in a relatively less detail.
