An egg vendor in Lucknow, India was recently shot at after an altercation over missing onions in an omelet heated up.
It’s ridiculous how some people will resort to violence over minor issues. An egg vendor in Lucknow, India was recently shot at after an altercation over missing onions in an omelet heated up.
The troubling incident occurred at around 7.30 pm on a recent Saturday. The suspect, who was a local man with a long criminal rap sheet, arrived at the establishment with friends and family members to eat, but once the food arrived, the male became upset that there were no onions mixed in with his eggs.
He confronted the egg vendor, who told the man that he couldn’t afford to purchase onions because prices had drastically increased. The angry customer went into a complete rage over the issue.
Although those who were standing nearby tried to intervene, the man could not be calmed down. He brandished a pistol and shot at the vendor.
The bullet grazed the victim's forehead. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and thankfully his injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
The suspect and his friends managed to flee the area after the incident but police are trying to locate them.
