Interstate Drivers Warned to Watch Out for Wandering Cow

Police in Henry County, Georgia have warned interstate drivers to keep an eye out for a cow or wandering bull.
When driving, it is not uncommon to see a wild animal cross the road.
Police in Henry County, Georgia have warned interstate drivers to keep an eye out for a cow or wandering bull. The large animal has previously made appearences in Clayton and Henry counties along the southern end of I-675.
Local authorities recently spent an entire day trying to locate the loose animal, which they have named ‘Kevin the Cow’. Law enforcement officials have been trying to catch the animal for a while now.
Henry County Police Sgt Joey Smith stated “We're talking maybe six months. A lot of calls started about that time and they're numerous. And usually if we get one, we get numerous at that time.”
It is suspected that the wandering cow was responsible for at least one accident that occurred on I-675. Usually the animal stays on the median and grazes as traffic goes by, but it’s proving to be quite a distraction to motorists.
There is also the chance it could walk into traffic, leading to a potentially fatal crash. Until the cow is caught, traffic authorities and police are asking drivers to be extremely careful.
