This is the fourth video demonstrating phrases by hard-bop guitar player Grant Green .This short video lesson teaches a major II-V-I phrase played by Green from the tune, "If I Should Lose You" off the album "Born To Be Blue". As part of the Jazz Guitarist's Signature Series, each lesson in this series explores the improvisational style of a prominent artist within the history of jazz guitar. This is done with a short transcribed phrase, most likely repeated over a reoccurring harmonic cadence (eg. II-V-I).
