Inspired by the reviews of the plot of Mass Effect and Dragon Age 2 by smudboy I decided to make a similar review of Diablo 3. In this review I examine the plot of act 1 and illustrate the following problems: the lack of logic used in the quests, how the motivations of various characters are determined by the gameplay rather than the story, and that enemies reused from previous games have been poorly incorporated in Diablo 3.
This video mostly covers Diablo 3 but does contain some clips from Diablo 1 in order to show that Blizzard was reusing characters from Diablo 1 in Diablo 3 and Diablo 2 to show how the events of Diablo 2 meant that Tyrael's motivations make no sense.
