During a storm‑drenched charity gala, Omega Tavien, concealing his identity, is force‑marked by the formidable dragon‑king Alpha Vaelor. Believing Tavien is merely a substitute for his old beloved Sylven, Vaelor grows cold and distant after their fateful night. Heart‑broken and pregnant, Tavien flees the castle through a brutal blizzard and gives birth to their dragon‑blooded son Neri all alone. Years later, fate reunites them.
