Here are the most effective and commonly used wrist flexor stretches to improve flexibility, relieve forearm tightness (common in climbers, desk workers, lifters, etc.): 1. Basic Prayer Stretch (Palms Together) Kneel or stand comfortably. Press your palms together in front of your chest (like praying). Keep palms pressed and slowly lower your hands toward your waist while keeping elbows up. You’ll feel a stretch along the underside of your forearms. Hold 20–30 seconds, repeat 2–4 times. 2. Extended Arm Wrist Flexor Stretch (Most Intense) Extend one arm straight in front of you, palm facing up (like you’re stopping traffic). With the opposite hand, gently pull the fingers and hand back toward your body (fingers pointing upward and slightly backward). Keep the elbow fully straight for maximum stretch. Hold 20–30 seconds per arm, 2–4 rounds. Variation: Do this on all fours (weight-bearing) for a deeper stretch. 3. Finger Extension Table Stretch Place your palm flat on a table or the floor, fingers spread. Gently lean forward or sit back to increase the stretch in the forearm flexors. Keep fingers straight (don’t let them bend backward excessively). Hold 20–30 seconds.
