00:00This is a tiny little island surrounded by an endless ocean and all I have is a tree, a small platform, and a little friend for now.
00:09I'm going to be transforming this tiny little island into an immense island oasis and I have to do this all within 100 days of hardcore Minecraft.
00:19I'm not working with much here, but I'm sure that's no problem. Let's go ahead and get to our tree.
00:24Day one and I didn't waste any time. I made my wooden pickaxe and then jumped right into the water to get all the stone I can get to make my stone tools.
00:33Wow, I haven't made that edit in so long.
00:36Next major thing I need to do is make this tiny island bigger. So I took the top layer of dirt and I decided to expand it.
00:43Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Come back.
00:45It wasn't a whole lot, but this will have to do for now.
00:48Don't worry. I'm not just trying to keep you alive because you're my only real food source here, but poop out an egg already, please.
00:54Since we're so limited on dirt and we need to expand more, there's actually the gravel method where you take gravel and then you combine it with dirt to make coarse dirt.
01:02And when you do that, you can then use a shovel and then create a dirt path block, then break it, and you now have a brand new dirt block.
01:10Look at that. Now we just doubled our dirt.
01:11I also forgot we have some goals for this video.
01:14Firstly, I gotta build a house.
01:16I also need to get full netherite armor.
01:19And of course, we got to defeat the ender dragon.
01:22As well as defeat the wither, too.
01:25Most importantly, we have to ride a happy ghast.
01:29And lastly, if it isn't obvious, not to game over.
01:32You put it on egg.
01:33Give me that.
01:33Look at this little child you have right here.
01:35Bop.
01:36Oh.
01:37I, uh, I just kind of popped the egg.
01:39Anyways, we can pretty much repeat this process until I run out of gravel and it's just an infinite amount of dirt until then.
01:44And so, I continued this method, breaking the blocks and then continuing to expand.
01:49Of course, I'm gonna have to constantly be getting gravel.
01:51But, luckily, there's a bunch of it in this world.
01:55After all that, I then turned the coarse dirt blocks back into dirt and did a real big push and expanded the island immensely.
02:03But, now we have a lot bigger of a platform here.
02:12This is so much better.
02:13It took forever to grind out all that dirt.
02:15But, I'm tired of just not having any food.
02:17And, we got a whole ocean here.
02:18So, let's go ahead and kill some of this cod here.
02:20So, after that fishing spree, it's night time.
02:26And, I come to my island and there's a bunch of mobs coming after me.
02:29And, it got really overwhelming.
02:31Maybe that was a blessing in disguise because we did kill a lot of skeletons.
02:34And, we do have some bones now.
02:36So, we can try to bone meal.
02:38And, we can actually get some grass here.
02:40And, now we gotta destroy it so we can get some seeds.
02:44Make a hoe.
02:45Place all these seeds.
02:46And, it's starting to become night time.
02:47Now, we got our charcoal.
02:49And, then make our torches.
02:49We got 20 of them.
02:50And, it's placed them everywhere here.
02:52And, now might as well just chop down some trees here.
02:58Once I finished doing that, I actually found a random chicken that just spawned in in the ocean.
03:02After wasting no time, I did what I had to do.
03:05Love each other.
03:06And, make a baby.
03:08I'm gonna go now.
03:09Finally go mining for some iron.
03:11Because, this is not fun.
03:12Being terrified of everything without having any armor.
03:15And, so, I start digging down.
03:17Planning on just starting a strip mine.
03:19To find some iron.
03:20Until.
03:22Whoa.
03:24Immediately, I tried to find the safest way and to get down to this bigger cave.
03:27In doing so, we had found our first diamonds.
03:30And, of course, we came here for iron.
03:32So, iron's there, too.
03:33I immediately got the iron.
03:35And, then got some more on the other side.
03:36Plopped down my furnace.
03:37And, started cooking the iron.
03:39First thing I did, though, however, was to make a shield.
03:42Because, that is too important.
03:43I eventually made my iron pickaxe.
03:45But, with the remaining iron I got, I then made a chest plate, too.
03:48I was ready to get the diamonds.
03:49And, then something caught my eye.
03:50Wait.
03:51Is that more diamonds right there?
03:52I see it.
03:53Alright.
03:54Let's just get the ones right in front of us now.
03:55Give me those.
03:56It looks like three diamonds.
03:58Give me that.
03:58Okay.
03:59We gotta be careful here.

04:01Oh, I thought there was gonna be one.

04:05I'm finding so many.

04:09I'm progressing through the mines, fighting for my dear life, mining all the ores, while
04:14also almost dying so I can cave myself.
04:18After I was all healed up, I continued my mining until...

04:25There's a lot of them, too.

04:51I did not want to say that the mines are very long, so I decided to head right back with
04:55the little iron that I got.

04:58Oh, we got a lot more bones, so we can use bone meal.

05:01Oh, and I also entrapped my chickens.
05:03How much string do we have?
05:04We have 15.
05:05I don't think that's enough to make us a bed.

05:08And now we can finally sleep.

05:13Now, let's cook our iron.
05:14I will say that was a very successful trip as we got sharpness three book and 11 diamonds.
05:19Let's go ahead and make our full iron armor.
05:22There we go.
05:23Now, we're looking a lot less pitiful, I should say.
05:25But that only leaves us with four and gets left total.
05:28I was in desperate need of food, and so I thought, we're around the ocean, I'm gonna make a fishing
05:33rod, and let's just have a dedicated day of fishing.
05:36Cue the montage.
05:37We got a good bit of cod and some salmon, too.
05:59What I'll do now, though, is make a smoker, and then put those in like that.
06:04We also got a lot more babies in here, which is great.
06:06Oh, we got a lot of eggs.
06:07Hold up.

06:10I should say I fished up a power three bow and an OP fishing rod that had mending, so
06:15it will never break.
06:16And I'm feeling a lot more confident now that I got full armor, so I thought, all right,
06:21we're gonna need a lot better successful mining trip, so we're going back in.
06:24I go back to the mine where I left to get more resources, and of course, I'm running for
06:28my dear life.
06:29While nearly dying, I even found more diamonds, but I had to make all the mobs go to a different
06:33area so I could swoop in there to get the diamonds.
06:35A lot of times, I also had to just box myself in to kill all the mobs to get the diamonds
06:40though.
06:40I found the warden's mess, and I wasn't too happy about that considering how annoying
06:44it is to go through it, but I was finding diamonds everywhere, sometimes though in areas
06:49that are a bit difficult to get.
06:51I mean, just look at the amount I'm finding here.
06:53Of course, I'm still getting beat up getting to these diamonds, but it's worth it because
06:56at least I'm getting XP from the mobs.
06:58Obviously, I couldn't forget to get more iron, even though I couldn't stop getting diamonds.
07:03We got 15 diamonds so far.
07:05That means we can make a diamond pickaxe, and we have our water bucket, so let's place
07:09that down and turn this lava into obsidian.
07:11Let's get this obsidian real quick.
07:14Okay, that's 14.
07:15Give me out.
07:15I continued to mine and went through the scary area and then got, you know, spooked.
07:19Oh, heck no.

07:22Luckily, I made it out of there while finding even more diamonds, and even more.
07:27I also encountered slime and got the slime balls.
07:29I'm exploring new areas, getting stacked with diamonds.

07:33I'm zooming through everything until I'm finding more and more diamonds to get.
07:36I'm feeling very good with how this mining trip is going.
07:39However, I ran out of food, so I had to stop it from there.
07:43Yes, we're back.
07:44It's nighttime.

07:48Harvest our stuff.
07:50I must feed all of my chickens.
07:52Anyways, that was a ridiculous mining trip.

07:56We have already a stack of diamonds.

08:01We went from nothing to something.

08:04Now we can smell all of our iron.
08:06Now, it's kind of awkward that we have all these diamonds and, like, no enchantment table.
08:10Um, there's no sugar cane anywhere.
08:13I don't know how to make paper yet.
08:16I didn't want to dwell on it too much, so I decided, you know what, let's go ahead and
08:19do it again and expand the island even more.
08:22So I went down in the ocean, got as much gravel as I could, and once again, continued the course
08:27dirt method.
08:28Look, we're gonna do this a lot, all right?
08:30I wasn't joking that I wanted a huge expansion.
08:33I got big plans for this build coming up, and I need a lot more land for it.
08:37So I went ahead and just filled in this big old giant area filled with dirt and was very
08:43happy to have a lot more land to work with here.
08:45With the new land that I've just built, I also wanted to get all the wood I had in the
08:49trees and then actually build a little section of the area and then just plant all of my
08:53saplings so I can have one big area just filled with trees.
08:56That way, it's just not everywhere on my land.
08:58And we are so far into the series that I haven't even really built anything yet.
09:03So you know what?
09:03I'm gonna build my first thing.
09:05So with the cobble we just got, we put it in the furnace.
09:07Now, I've been fishing a lot, and I figured, you know what, the very first build we do,
09:12let's just make a fishing dock.
09:13We also got that really nice fishing rod, so I feel like there's no better time to build
09:17something than a fishing dock right now.
09:19It's nothing too crazy.
09:21I just wanted to make something mainly out of wood.
09:23As annoying as it is to deal with all these drowns while I'm building, I actually came
09:27across something pretty interesting because when I was building this, someone decided to
09:31come by.
09:33Oh my gosh.
09:34Please.
09:35Wait a minute.
09:36Can you have it?
09:37Oh no!
09:39I don't have an emerald!
09:40Baked potato and a fragment of spider eye?

09:54Then we can get a single emerald.

10:12I needed to get leaf blocks because I wanted to give this a more like lively look.
10:15I wanted to add the leaves to the top, so I added these fences, so that way it gave
10:19it like a platform for it.
10:21It would look a lot better once I add the leaves to the top like this.
10:24And some little extra details I wanted to do is to add some leaves dropping from the
10:27top, and then added lanterns to light it up a little bit.
10:30And of course, I want to add some other small details like adding the trap doors to the wood.
10:34Here it is though.
10:35Our fishing dock is done.
10:37Nothing too crazy.
10:38It's pretty basic, but I love how it turned out.
10:40And we're going to be working on something even bigger.
10:42I've been surrounded by this ocean, and yet I haven't really explored much of it.
10:46So let's go explore this big old sea that we have, and already right off the rip, I see
10:50an abandoned portal.
10:51And it's huge, by the way.
10:53Now, I didn't have much.
10:54However, I'm surrounded by a ton of shipwrecks.
10:57I went out and just looted a ton of the ships, a bunch of items that I thought were really
11:01good, and as well as getting a lot of paper and some books.
11:04And I even found like a ton of golden apples at one of the abandoned portals I ran into.
11:08But finding all this paper is going to help us be able to make our enchantment room.
11:12So I decided to head back and go ahead and make our enchantment table.
11:15I don't really care that we don't have any bookshelves, but you know what?
11:18I'm just going to get protection on all of my diamond armor.
11:21And then we'll also enchant my pickaxe.
11:23And why not?
11:24I just went ahead and just made full diamond tools.
11:26And then I enchanted those and got efficiency on all of them, as well as sharpness.
11:30Then I went back to continue the shipwreck hunt.
11:33Found a bunch of paper and some books.
11:35But when I got back...
11:37Oh, no way.
11:40Yes, finally.
11:41Oh, and there's two and a sheep.
11:43This is perfect.
11:44Wait, hold on.
11:45I gotta make another one.
11:45This could be more spacious since the cows are bigger.

12:35i think i broke approximately like 20 shovels in the process of getting all this dirt and it's
12:51been like what like seven minecraft days so firstly i want to extend the island a little
12:56bit more to the side and then add a big old mountain at the top and then we'll add a little
13:00bit more volume on the other side as well but not as tall as the mountain because then we're
13:04gonna put our house right here also i want to add we found another trader he gave me a mangrove log so
13:10i mean that's cool for something and we also have a significantly more amount of sugar cane let's get
13:16started on the expansion here i plan to make this a lot bigger but not too big we'll just make the
13:21outline of this right here and there we go i think that's a good outline for the extension so now let's
13:26just go and fill in everything
13:27so now that it's all filled in instead of actually just making all one big terrain i'm just gonna
13:50outline the mountain with this and then just leave the whole inside hollow so i'm just gonna pretty
13:54much guesstimate just how like a mountain would be and so we'll just go ahead and add the other layer
13:58now something like this should do
14:03all right so far we're getting somewhere this is kind of what i want actually you know what i'm
14:13gonna get rid of all these trees
14:14because the trees right here are gonna be in the way when we update the floorboard here i'm also gonna
14:21get a good bit of cobble here because while we're terraforming this area we're gonna need a lot of
14:26stone and we'll put it in the furnace okay let's get back to this now and let's just go all around
14:31now there we go we went all the way around and now just to extend this whole top layer as well

15:22I'm waiting for pretty much most of the grass to fill in all this dirt
15:25But I actually plan on on this little mini mountain right here on top of this mountain to build our

15:35But we're not actually done yet because like I said we had to get the stone

15:50We'll just do this all around the mountain
15:52So we'll probably just get this whole half right here all stone
15:55We shall continue this process until I get it to well how I like it and while i'm doing this
16:01I'm, hopefully gonna have a whole plot of grass. Okay, this is giving exactly what I wanted
16:06Obviously the goal is to try to make this as a naturally generated mountain as possible
16:10And I think this is doing just that right now and we'll add some stone on this side as well

16:19And I even got this big old chunk of space right here to where we're gonna build our house
16:23Which I should go and get the supplies for our house because I think i'm ready to build it

19:27Uh, just because you know, the island just doesn't have sand. That's fine
19:31Because like I said, I wanted the place to be open where I can just walk in through anywhere
19:35And just like that we essentially have the house done other than the interior, but this is what we got
19:41But we finally have a home. Well, sort of
19:44You just gotta fix the interior here. So first things first, we need to bring our chest in here. So watch this transition ready and
19:49Boom, I I hope that transition worked out better than I thought but I got all my chest here now and this side
19:55I'm probably just gonna have all my food right here and i'm gonna put all of the
19:58Smokers right here and i'll probably just have like a blast furnace in the middle here and plop a crafting table like that
20:04It's starting to become a lot more homey in here
20:06I know it's a bit unique kind of having like this really open house like this
20:10Otherwise, I would add glass but like I said, we're just so limited on the sand that we get on this world
20:15I mean right here is about the only amount of sand I have that's generated in this world
20:19And I actually have plans for it and i'm gonna need every bit as much as I can get with all that happening
20:24Now I think it's time for a big event and i'm ready to go to the nether
20:28We have our 10 obsidian and this isn't going to be the official portal
20:32But this is just kind of a temporary one that we're going to build right now
20:34Because what I really want to do is actually build up our enchantment room and for some parts of the build
20:39I need to get some soul sand. So let's go ahead and go into the nether
20:42These have a good spawn

20:49At least we got some convenient glowstone right here

20:54Since I was already there and I decided just to get some wood and then continue on my search to find a soul sand biome

44:29Let's start by making this mountain a lot more cool.

44:32I feel like all the blocks I need for every build, I just need to keep going through the

44:36I'm going to need a lot of bone blocks here.
44:39The crazy part to this is that we're still going to come back here for more stuff.
44:43Now that I got all these bone blocks, I also got a bunch of bones.
44:45So I'm just going to turn those into blocks as well.

44:58We got most of the blocks we need for now.
44:59We're going to open this back up again.
45:01I'll just use netherrack as a placeholder for this instead of dirt.

45:07Now what I'm going to do is I'm just going to wing this.
45:10I have a really cool idea.
45:11A giant skull face in this mountain.
45:13I kind of have reference, but like I'm, it's not much.

45:25So far we have the head structure because I just absolutely love blue fire.

45:37We can continue the floor pattern here with the deep slate tiles.

45:44So now that we have like the base entryway going on,
45:46you can add like some detail here like this small thing.
45:49Let's match the same floor design here.
45:52I'm just going to do one strip of the mangrove stairs here.

45:57Now we have the entryway of the mouth.
45:59I'm going to fill the back of the eyes with this.
46:01Dude, this looks sick.
46:02I love this.
46:03It's nothing too crazy,
46:04but it's just a little something an easier way to get to the enchantment table
46:07without walking all the way around here.
46:09Plus, it's just way more cool to have a skull and a mountain.
46:11I mean, come on.
46:11So next, what I want to do is actually give this whole island some sand.
46:15And then I want to add some big old palm trees to make this a little bit more beach-like.
46:18So I'm just going to go down here and get all the sand I can possibly get down here
46:21and get all the resources that we need.
46:26So the annoying part is making a platform for all this sand to stick
46:30and not just fall straight down to the seafloor.
46:33Because obviously, I'm going to put sand right here.
46:35It's just going to, you know, yeah.
46:37So we're essentially going to have to make like an underfloor to all of this.
46:40This is way too awful, but it's worth it.
46:43It's going to make this super sick.
46:52So now I want to make some fake palm trees using the mangrove wood.
46:55So I got to plant a lot more of these plants.
46:57And I'll pretty much just plop them down sporadically here.
46:59I'm actually wanting to use oak leaves for them.
47:02So I'm going to also plant some oak saplings up top of here.
47:04Thank goodness for bone meal.
47:06We'll just do this.
47:07Get me out of here.
47:07Do all of these.
47:08And these should be the last couple of trees.
47:11There we go.
47:12And now to get all these trees.
47:14This is always the most annoying part with mangroves, I swear.
47:17Actually, let's go ahead and just get some leaves for the mangrove just in case if I change my mind.
47:20And now to shave off all of these other leaves right here.
47:22This one should be the last one.
47:24So I'm going to make the first palm tree right here.
47:27Hopefully I can actually make this look good.
47:28I don't even know.
47:29So this will probably be like the stem for it.
47:31Maybe we can add another one right here as well.
47:33We can add a little small one as well.
47:36And let's put one at the very top of this mountain too.
47:39But we'll make it a big one.
47:40Wow, they actually kind of look funny without the leaves on them.
47:42Oh, okay.
47:43Let's go ahead and add some on the other side.
47:45And then one on the edge.
47:46And then last one right over here.
47:49Okay, now that all the wood is done, we can add the leaves.
47:52And let's add some carpet on the top of this.
47:55Here we go.
47:55We have a little tiny tree.
47:56But now for the bigger ones.
47:57Kind of bring it out like this.
47:59And we'll do that on each corner.
48:01And then do another layer at the top like this.
48:03And bring it out in the middle.
48:05There we go.
48:06And yeah, we're going to pretty much just repeat this process over and over again.
48:09There we go.
48:39All right, that is all the trees done, I believe.
48:44This is golly up here.
48:46Yeah, not the best.
48:48I'm not going to lie.
48:49But with what we're working with, it's going to have to do.
48:52Because we're really close to being done with this.
48:54And there's a couple more builds I really want to do.
48:57So like I said before, we're going to have to go back to the nether for this next build and get some blocks.
49:01I essentially just want to bring a crimson force and a warp force into the overworld.
49:05And luckily, we have one right here.
49:07So this should not take too long at all.
49:08And now to get stuff out of warp forest and get all these blocks over here.
49:12Now that I got everything that I need, let's get out of here.
49:14And for the rest of the blocks, I actually need to go to the end.
49:17And thank goodness we have an elytra.
49:18We can just really fly over here.
49:19Oh my gosh, let's go close our land looks.
49:20Here we are.

49:22And now I just need to get these end stone blocks.
49:25All right, now that we're back, it's time to build this little area.
49:36Now to finally get rid of this awful portal.

49:47I mean, look at this island that we've built.
49:50This has gone through a whole lot.
49:52I mean, we've survived nearly 100 days.
49:55And we've built so much.
49:56Really caught up with all the building because we did a lot of prepping.
49:58But this is amazing.
49:59I love this.
50:00As we approach our final day, I figure we walk around here and see everything that we built.
50:05Obviously, we have this amazing docking station for our gaster.
50:08He's just kind of floating.
50:09He's doing his own thing up there.
50:10Hey there.
50:11We have our walkway all the way to the enchantment room.
50:15This was a really fun build to do.
50:16And then, obviously, what we just did is this skull head right over here into the front of this mountain.
50:21We go over here.
50:22We have our very open house that a lot of mobs will just kind of chill and walk.
50:26Listen, I know.
50:27I could have just had windows, but I'm feeling different.
50:29There's a lot much more I wanted to do this.
50:31But since we only have 100 days, I couldn't do all of it.
50:34But I'm really happy with everything we've done so far.
50:36And, of course, we have our little custom trees here.
50:38They're kind of funny looking, but, you know.
50:40I still like them.
50:41Our very first build.
