00:05Meaning, they sound the same but have different meanings and spellings.
00:10Kaya pansinin ninyo guys, magkaiba ang spelling, magkaiba ang kahulugan, pero pare-pareho ang pronunciation.
00:18So let's discuss first yung T-H-E-R-E na ang katumbas sa Tagalog ay doon.
00:24So yung there is an adverb which always refers to a place or position.
00:31So for example guys, my mother is sitting over there.
00:35Dito naman tayo sa T-H-E-R, there.
00:39Ang katumbas sa Tagalog nito ay kanila.
00:42There is a possessive determiner which shows belonging or possession.
00:47Nagpapakita ito ng pagmamay-ari.
00:49For example, their house is big.
00:52So dito naman tayo sa naiba guys.
00:54Sa kanilang tatlo, ito yung naiba kasi ito lang yung may apostrophe.
00:58So T-H-E-Y apostrophe R-E is a short form of they are.
01:04So ito guys ay pinaiksimula sa two words na they tapos are.
01:09So they are.
01:10Na ang katumbas sa Tagalog ay sila ay.
