The day of Sam and Emma’s wedding arrives as the town gears up to commemorate Jim Regan’s Ride – telling the story of how the RFDS came to Coopers Crossing. Chris misses the wedding when she´s stuck on a farm with a sick child. A torrential storm prevents an airlift and Chris’ only option is to evacuate on horseback. After trekking through rough terrain and a fierce thunderstorm, Chris calls in the Nomad just as Sam and Emma are about to say I do. Kate and Geoff are thrown together as an anxious Sam puts the Nomad through its paces.
