DJ's father is in Coopers Crossing in a desperate bid to convince DJ to help out with the family hotel business. DJ and his father visit an old man out in the bush to fix a broken radio but need to call in the doctors when they discover he is ill. Chris calls on the gentlemanly nature of her colleagues when the doctors must take over the base radio – to no avail. DJ eventually decides to move to Greece with his father.
