- Try not to over eat at Iftar time.
- Make plenty of Dua just before you break your fast, as this is one of the times Allah accepts your Dua.
- Try not to eat foods that can give you bad breath or make you thirsty the next day... foods such as raw garlic & onion.
- Wake up before Fajr and eat your Suhoor, even if it's only one date and some water.
- Wear your best clothes and smell your best, then go to the mosque for Isha and Taraweeh prayer... remember don't go to the mosque if you have eaten smelly foods such as raw garlic or onion.
- Take some dates or sweets to offer to your brothers and sisters at the mosque.
- Read, memorise and learn many new Surahs from the Quran & try to avoid watching TV. 8- Invite family and friends to Iftar.
- Avoid using foul language or getting angry.
- Avoid sleeping too much in the day and staying up late at night, which may cause you to miss Suhoor
- Feed the needy and give lots of charity
- Try to continue all these things after Ramadan.
