The world's top art fair, Art Basel has finally made its debut in Asia. For the inaugural event in Hong Kong, 245 galleries from around the globe turned out in force. Gayageum Trio at Classical:Next
Soothing sounds of Korea's traditional zither, gayageum recently struck a chord with the international classical music community in Vienna, Austria. At the second annual Classical:Next, composer Lim June-hee showcased an ingenious blend of Korean and Western classical styles with her scores for gayageum, violin, and piano.
