MakeShop Art Space: "MakeShop Top 10"
Evaluate and enjoy the artworks is the aim of this exhibition. Works by ten artists representing a variety of genres from paintings to installations are on view?all contemplating modern life. Among the artists, Park Eun-sun presents man’s ambitions with her pieces portraying castles, while Ju Se-kyun explores the rules of society and the consequences of breaking them in his installation made of sand. From the ten, four will be chosen for the Artists-in-Residence program at MakeShop Art Space.

PERFORMANCE
The Korean Chamber Orchestra: 139th Regular Concert
Founded in 1965, the Korean Chamber Orchestra is one of the most prolific orchestras in the country, having held more than 600 concerts, locally and internationally. For the latest 139th regular concert, German maestro Frank Cramer was invited to conduct. The program includes the world premiere of “Flugel II” by Korean composer Choi Myung-whun and rarely heard masterpieces, namely, “Music for Strings, Percussion & Celesta” by B. Bartok, and “Flute Concerto in d minor by A. Khachaturian.
