Marc Graue is a prolific voice actor and owner of the Marc Graue Voice Over Studio in Burbank, CA. In his 40-year career, he has voiced thousands of characters, trailers, commercials, and radio spots.
Additionally, he is one of the funniest people I have ever met, someone with complete control of their voice.
He is perhaps best-known to gamers as the voice of Mr. Zurkon in the Ratchet & Clank series, and for being the voice of Mario and Luigi in 1993's infamous Hotel Mario. Hotel Mario was the best-selling title for the disastrous Philips CD-I. Years later, the game's cutscenes helped spawn the internet phenomenon known as YouTube Poop, where pop culture footage is remixed by editors into new content, the more obscene, the better.
In this third NDH Films interview, Marc Graue draws on his 40 years of experience to discuss the craft of voice acting, what actors need from a director, how technology has affected the business, and some amusing stories from his recording studio.
