Paul Alter

Paul Alter died at the age of 89. This famous TV director and producer was a television legend and veteran in the TV game-show. Today, years after his death, Paul Alter is still missed and passionately adored by the people who leved him and the audience that watched his TV Shows. Over his productive career Paul Alter was won two Emmy Award for his work and was nominated for 14 additional awards. He was married twice. With his first wife Shirley Burrows Alter Paul Alter was married over 40 years. Later Alter married his second wife Lorraine Cole Alter. Today he is survived by his three daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Alter retired from TV following his departure from TV Show 'The Price Is Right,' back in 2000. Then he went back to music, composing music and writing lyrics for 'The True Spirit of Christmas' holiday album. The album was recorded by Pat Boone.
