The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. ("IAAS") is a New York not-for-profit organization created in 2000 to enhance understanding of and respect for cultural diversity through literature and literacy. Our goal is to spotlight and celebrate multicultural literature and to promote cultural awareness by providing the tools of social literacy and skills for effective cross-cultural interaction.
Gabrielle David is the executive director of The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (IAAS), a NY-based nonprofit organization that supports multicultural literature and literacy. She is also executive producer and co-host of phatLiterature, A Literary TV Program. In her spare time, she is a rabble rouser and moderates RABBLE ROUSER'S FORUM, a sociopolitical blog.
