Dr David Reade was educated in Bedfordshire at Sharnbrook Upper School before going on to gain his medical qualifications from the Liverpool University Medical School. He is currently a BMA member and a GP board member of the St Helens CCG governing body, as well as training GPs through the RCGP.

Dr David Reade currently works as a GP Partner at the Hall Street Medical Centre in St Helens, UK. Having been partner at the medical centre since 2012, Dr Reade has focused his medical practice towards clinical research, prevention and medicine.

Outside of his profession, Dr David Reade is a keen runner, often taking part in 10km races as well as half marathons. Dr Reade plays the saxophone in the Maghull Wind Orchestra and he enjoys musical theatre, with Les Misérables being his favourite production. Football is another passion of Dr Reade’s; he supports Manchester United and also regularly watches rugby union matches.
