After the last session which saw me miss a multitude of bites, I revisited the same swim armed with new hooklinks and a refreshed determination to bag one of those wily chub.

With the water temperature much decreased from the last session I knew the bites would be much fewer so it was important to convert those I managed to coax.

However, things started with a familiar tone and my sense of foreboding started to grow...

NB to be more specific about the goundbait it is Sensas 3000 river black. Not really used it much before but the fish seem to like it.
