Chub Fishing - Roving, A Mobile Approach - Warwickshire Avon River Campaign - 23/2/18 (Video 65)
With the water temperature plummeting I decided the only realistic chance of a bite on a cold February late afternoon/evening was to have a wonder around the middle/lower section below the weir.

I figured that I would be unable to encourage fish onto my bait with the water being cold, and getting colder, so opted for the mobile approach, hoping to drop my bait in front of a fish that would be unable to resist a tasty morsel.

Thanks goes to those of you out in internet-land who have encouraged me to have a go at this approach. The "bream" angler in me wins out far too often and I set my stall out in a swim and try to build it, rather than looking for the fish.

The approach paid-off as you will see and I hope you enjoy watching.

Please keep in touch using my facebook page. I like to hear how you are doing with your fishing, especially in the cold weather we are having.

Tight lines,

Nic

Apologies for the occasional wind noise but, even though I went "double dead cat", it was really blowing at times and sometimes comes though on the audio.
