For over 25 years Yosef Mystel has been building quite a successful career in the health care field, both as an administrator and consultant. Mystel has been working in single and multi-specialty practices, primary care, surgical groups and academic medical centers. Today, he leads the daily operations of Healthcare Management and brings proven strategies in the management of billing, personnel, budgeting, marketing, contracting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and strategic planning.
Mystel's initial introduction to health care began as a medical technologist where he ultimately managed a private clinical laboratory in Chicago. Mystel later moved on to work with practices ranging from solo practitioners to groups with other physicians, and has used his experience to develop strategies that are key to the billing operations of Healthcare Management. Yosef Mystel’s expertise allows him to provide a range of operational services to medical group practices, including the following:
Medical Billing & Collection– performing all day to day billing functions for physician group practices, including claims submission, payment posting, claims follow-up, patient statements, and medical group financial accounting.
Human Resources – assisting with critical functions impacting effective human resource management, including evaluating resumes for qualified candidates, interviewing candidates and assisting with the hiring process, developing job descriptions and evaluating employee performance, facilitating communication among team members, etc.
Operational Consulting – assisting Administration with evaluating opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness with regard to internal work processes, including patient registration, patient flow, clinical and administrative staffing, etc. Other areas of focus include patient communication, patient and physician satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.
