Nu Finish, a once a year car polish. The commercial made me want to try it. When I was paid for that week I went and got some at Wal-Mart, it was around $4.00 for a 16 FL.OZ bottle.

The bottle says it contains no wax, and that it will not scratch your cars clear coat finish. Nu Finish can also be used on fiberglass boats, RV's and motorcycles, and it will polish chrome surfaces. It claims you can put it on in the direct sun, but I don't think I am going to that. I do not want to stand in the sun. The directions seem easy enough.

I do want to note that you cannot use it on Vinyl; metalized plastic trim, simulated wood, rubber, or flat paint.

To start off, you must wash the car and let it dry. Get yourself two soft cloths. Get one of them wet then squeeze the excess water out leaving it damp. It is best to work in sections, because if you leave it too long it does not wipe off as good. Put a good size blob on the damp cloth, when applying to car work a circular pattern. Try to keep it an even, as you apply it. When it dries it gets hazy, that is when you wipe it off. Again, use a circular motion when wiping off. It works better then just wiping. It says to re-apply it after thirty days for maximum protection, but on the spots that it didn't take well I re-did right away. And, is has not done anything bad to it so I guess it is ok to do that.

It is good to see that something actually works like it says it does. I have been telling everyone I know to go and get some. I have an 80 something car and I did only half of the car so I can see how it wears in the sun and weather.

I have yet to see if lasts as long as long as it says it will, at least 52 automatic car wash. I have already washed the car once since I put it on and it did not seem to wear off any.

I would recommend that anyone thinking his or her car needs a paint job, they should try this first!
